MNP were delighted to work with Andrew Goodman of Good Architecture, awarded a runner-up position in the ‘UK Passivhaus design competition 2012’. Several hundred entrants stood a chance to have their winning design built at BREs Innovation Park in Watford, and eight finalists were interviewed before the winners were announced in January.

As well as being airtight and saving energy to Passivhaus standards, the designs had to meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and cost no more than £1,200/m² to build.
