Stocks House was a country house hotel in Hertfordshire and previously the Playboy mansion, originally built in 1773. Over the years, various alterations had eroded the home’s distinctive character.
Our structural modifications included removing internal walls, and repairing floors, walls and ceilings. We added a new garage, stable court, swimming pool, and landscaped the gardens. We stripped away the modern wings of the house, leaving the original buildings, positioned around a courtyard.
Once the project was completed, the manor had regained its authentic character, ready to return to its former glory as an elegant family home.
