MNP Bridge Masters House

The Bridgemaster’s House

A comprehensive refurbishment of a Grade II-listed landmark in London

The Grade II-listed Bridgemaster’s House adjoins the famous Tower Bridge. Our conservation specialists surveyed the building, including its vaulted subterranean reservoir with a view to creating a new wine bar in the reservoir and transforming the building with improved staff facilities for the resident bridge team, and a glass-roofed restaurant over the old workshop courtyard.

Working with Ellis Williams Architects for The City of London Corporation, we contributed to the new vision for the house, to unlock its hidden potential whilst remaining sensitive to its historic significance.
