Background:

This Grade II listed Georgian country manor house, built in 1773, was extensively refurbished to include a new swimming pool, landscaped gardens and a stabling yard.

Structural modifications included the removal of internal walls and repairs to floors, walls and ceilings. A new garage block and stables was also added.

Once home to the 1st Viscount of Fallodden, and since occupied by the family of Aldous Huxley, the Playboy empire in the UK and a golf club owned by the cricketer Phil Edmonds, Stocks House is now a luxury private home.
