Background:

This imaginative high end residential scheme of just under 7,000 sq ft includes a cinema, leisure facilities and swimming pool within the double basement.

The project required extensive consultation with the London Borough of Camden and the Hampstead Heath Society before planning was approved. A ground movement analysis and extensive party wall issues influenced design and construction options for the deep excavation and concrete sub-structure.

The exterior of the property remains sympathetic to its regency neighbours, yet the house will boast a contemporary and light interior.

MNP coordinated complex temporary works with the permanent structure in this most challenging of conservation area developments.
