Established in 1999, Mason Navarro Pledge is an energetic team of experienced civil and structural engineers with enthusiasm for new ideas.

Over the past 12 years, we have established a reputation for contributing to many high profile projects throughout the UK and internationally. These include Future Systems’ facade at 187-195 Oxford Street, the £80m New Homes for Luton project, a £70m National Supreme Court in North Africa as well as many schools, hotels, leisure venues and private houses.

Our culture defines the way we work. We are dynamic and creative, yet thorough and reliable. We have experts in many areas, from ultra-modern design and complex 3-D modelling, through to historic building techniques and materials. This diversity of experience brings different perspectives together, often building creative tension which leads to new ideas and always ensuring that designs are practical and achievable.

This approach has been recognised by clients and consultant teams, many of whom have been working with us since the 1990s. On all projects, we are active team players and our energy is focused on meeting the deadline within budget, saving cost and time wherever possible. This aim is continually reinforced in daily and weekly reviews.

The ability of our team has also been recognised by the industry: In 2010, we were highlighted as one of the “Innovative SMEs: 10 small firms with big ideas” by Building magazine, which commented, “These cutting-edge companies are cutting edge because they can change shape quickly, seek out new niches and develop innovations to suit emerging trends.” For more traditional work we are advisors to the Building Research Establishment’s Victorian Terrace project, and engineers for the Institution of Civil Engineers’ refurbishment of 8 Storey’s Gate.

When you visit our open plan Head Office in Hitchin (25 minutes from Central London by train), you will

meet a busy and friendly team. The working environment is inspiring, highly efficient and equipped with the latest hardware and BIM software, enabling us to offer our clients integrated 3d modelling and finite element analysis and design. We provide an efficient and streamlined design process with improved design change tracking.

We don’t specialise in any particular sector, we specialise in all sectors. We understand how buildings work and apply the best design practice based on our wide experience. Good ideas are often transferred between sectors, to the benefit of the project.

All areas of civil and structural engineering are covered, from structural survey reports and environmental assessments, to SUDS and foul drainage design, highways design, non-destructive testing, dynamic 3-D modelling and seismic design to European Codes of Practice.
