16 Wilton Place

An elegant townhouse transformed to create a lighter brighter living space

We worked with Lawson Robb architects and interior designers to remodel a Grade II-listed 6-storey townhouse in Knightsbridge. The basement, ground and first floors were opened up to feature a lightwell with terraces, climbing plants and structural glazing. We sensitively designed an elegant structure including strengthening the floors and roof.

According to Alix Lawson of Lawson Robb, “Mason Navarro Pledge have been very responsive, testing the existing structure and highlighting weaknesses from previous alterations. The new structural elements are unobtrusive and integrate extremely well with the brickwork, glass and other materials.”
