Throughout his career, Chris has been involved in the design and construction of a variety of major projects including the redevelopment of Farringdon Station, and Wembley Stadium.

He has significant technical expertise, providing advice to others within the construction industry for and on behalf of advisory bodies, such as the Engineering Council, HSE and BSI.  Chris is technical author of over 60 guidance notes and an active member of both the Institution of Structural Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers.  In 2025, he was placed on the Higher Risk Buildings (HRB) Competency Register for Chartered Structural Engineers.
