We’re delighted that Associate Qusay Elshawa has successfully passed the Institution of Structural Engineers/Institution of Civil Engineers Higher-Risk Buildings Professional Review Interview and will soon be included on the HRB Structures Register.
The register recognises engineers who have demonstrated the competence, knowledge and experience required to work on HRBs – an important step in raising standards across the industry.
Qusay comments; “Passing the HRB PRI is a proud milestone. The register exists to give clients and residents confidence that those leading higher-risk building work meet the competence standards demanded by the Building Safety Act”.
“Very proud of Qusay Elshawa in our Manchester office for achieving Chartered HRB status. He is leading on many BSR initiatives across our UK offices from Gateway 2 strategy to safety case reports. With two more GW2 successes this month alone and a growing portfolio of safety case reports, we’re in good shape to help support our clients through the BSR process.” (Stuart Pledge, Managing Director)
