Over the past week, we’ve had two of our projects receive Gateway 2 approval:
West One, Salford (main image) – submitted to the BSR in September 2025. The development features an 8-storey residential block of 140 units formed in reinforced concrete, with undercroft car parking sitting beneath a first-floor podium deck that provides additional amenity space. We managed to save around 245 tCO2e through early architectural/structural coordination which enabled us to omit transfer structures.
Cyprus, Newham – submitted to the BSR in November 2025. This new residential scheme features two HRB blocks. The wider development comprises of 211 homes spread over six blocks ranging in height between 5 and 9 storeys, and will provide much needed affordable homes to the area.
It’s positive to see timescales improving from submission to approval, with the extent of queries now minimal.
