Introducing local students to the construction industry

Over the past few weeks, we’ve teamed up with Stomor Ltd, Ashe Group, Barker Parry Town Planning Ltd, Celadon Consulting Ltd and Pentangle Design to give Year 12 students from local schools a taste of the wide variety of career opportunities available in the built environment industry.

The students were curious, engaged, and full of fantastic questions. Rowena Neighbour and Stephan Rapley, who ran the MNP session, were delighted to see that by the end of the day, the students not only had a clearer understanding of the industry, but also felt more confident and inspired to explore a future career in it.

It would be brilliant to see similar initiatives in other towns, with local companies joining force to showcase our industry and inspire the next generation of talent!
