Background:

The team at MNP have been involved in projects at Festival Place in Basingstoke, Cathedral Place in Worcester, The Brewery centre in Cheltenham, Jackson Square in Bishop’s Stortford, Fremlin Walk in Maidstone and Cardinal Park in Ipswich.

  • At Festival Place in Basingstoke, MNP are working with Watts for Teachers’ Pensions and Milligan Retail Development on a number of projects to enhance the centre. These include the demolition and reconstruction of a 1960’s multi-storey car park spanning over 4 lanes of the busy A3010.
  • In Worcester, MNP are working with Leslie Jones Architects for Salmon Developments on a multi-million pound re-development proposal of Cathedral Plaza.
  • In Cheltenham, MNP are working with Roberts Limbrick Architects for NFU Mutual on a £20m extension to The Brewery Centre to house an extra 110,000sq ft of retail space, a 104 bed hotel and 34 apartments.
  • In Bishop’s Stortford, MNP have worked with Broadway Malyan Architects and Watts Group for Legal & General to undertake feasibility studies of a number of redevelopment options for the existing Jackson Square shopping centre.
  • At Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre in Maidstone, MNP are working with owners Legal & General, project managers Jones Lang Lasalle and architects EHW to design new units for Barclays and Next.
  • At Cardinal Park, Ipswich MNP are designing changes to the building for incoming tenants. Works are managed by Jones Lang Lasalle.

As well as working for freeholders on major redevelopments, MNP have been involved with retailers taking units in shopping centres at Meadowhall, both Westfield centres, the Trafford Centre, the Bentall Centre (Kingston), Dondrum Centre (Dublin), Gatwick Airport, Harrods and Heathrow T2.
