Background:

MNP has been appointed as Structural and Civil Engineering consultant as part of the University of Arts construction framework.

The successful tender has been confirmed following a £1.5m refurbishment project, with IPL Contractors, for the London College of Communications (LCC).

Originally built in the 1960s, the LCC building at the Elephant and Castle site has spectacular views over London and its iconic landscape.  Sectioned into small office areas, the layout of the workspace was dated and not being used to full potential.

Alongside Penson Architects, MNP made some major structural changes to the building to include wall openings at basement level. Many of the existing walls were demolished to create a bright, airy and creative new open space.

Status:
Completed.
