Background:
Design of a new 40,000 sq ft headquarters office building. The building is an rc framed flat slab with a piled foundation. This project is the first of approx 25 proposed buildings forming a masterplan to provide up to 1,000,000 sq ft of office and industrial space. The site is on a flood plain and next to a nature reserve which is a site for special scientific interest (SSSI).
